In 2006, Tommy's 200m Butterfly was ranked 4th in the USA and 39th in the world. He broke 12 Cabrillo College school records and one National Record - all of which he still holds.
In 2008, Tommy completed his 16 year competitive swimming career at the USA Swimming Olympic Trials.
In 2010, Tommy decided to transfer his athletic ability into the triathlon world.
In 2011, Tommy won his first and second professional races back to back at the San Francisco Triathlon at Alcatraz and The Triathlon at Pacific Grove.
In 2016, Tommy's goals are to be USAT Athlete of the Year and to be part of the United States Triathlon Olympic team.
